WEDNESDAY

-6:10 p.m.: theft. Alexis Deitz, 805 Arrowhead Drive, reported her wallet was stolen from her place of employment, Jack’s Pets, 2244 Michigan St. Two unauthorized purchases were made with her debit card.

-4:55 p.m.: counterfeit money. Someone used a fake $10 bill at the Clark gas station, 1301 Wapakoneta Ave.

-4:48 p.m.: unruly juvenile. A woman reported her son ran away.

-4:37 p.m.: theft. Personnel at Lowes reported a shoplifter stole a drill combo set, valued at $579, from the store.

-3:50 p.m.: theft. Joyce Bertsch, 804 Spruce Ave., reported her 1995 Ford Windstar, valued at $2,000, was stolen from her residence. The auto was later recovered.

-1:35 p.m.: unruly juvenile. A woman reported her juvenile daughter would not follow her rules.

-12:48 p.m.: theft. Stacey Ward, 414 N. Walnut Ave., reported she received a bad check.

-11:35 a.m.: counterfeit money. Personnel at the Clark gas station, 1301 Wapakoneta Ave., reported someone tried to pass a fake $20 bill. The incident is under investigation.

-8:36 a.m.: warrant. Police served a summons from Sidney Municipal Court to Debrah Monnin-Fox, 61, 704 N. Ohio Ave., for telecommunications harassment.

Accidents

Caitlan Collett, 20, 827 Arrowhead Drive, Apt. H, was cited with failure to maintain an assured clear distance after an accident Tuesday at 10:38 a.m.

Collett was westbound on Russell Road and struck the rear of a westbound car that was stopped to turn left onto Sixth Avenue. The driver of the other auto was Rita Day, 55, 22333 LeFevre Road, Maplewood.

• Melanie Sims, 34, 616 Lynn St., was cited with failure to control after an accident Tuesday at 10:39 p.m.

Sims was westbound in the 700 block of Lynn Street and struck the auto of Rodney Beckstedt, 721 Lynn St., that was parked facing east. The impact pushed the Beckstedt auto off the street and the Sims car rolled onto its side and slid to a rest near 722 Lynn. Neighbors helped Sims get out of the car. She was not injured.
