ST. MARYS, — Two Midwest Electric employees, Line Supervisor Bill Carter, of Wapakoneta, and Crew Leader Chad Klaus, of St. Marys, recently earned their statewide Supervising for Safety certificates after completing a two-day workshop in Columbus.
This workshop, presented by Midwest Electric’s statewide trade association, Ohio’s Electric Cooperatives, was a follow-up to the successful Safety Supervisory Series through the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association. Taught by Practical Energies’ President Bryan Singletary, who has more than 30 years of electric utility experience and is a national lecturer and trainer, the workshop curriculum prepared cooperative employees to better understand front-line supervisor roles and responsibilities.
