MONDAY  

-5:32 p.m.: theft — without consent. The theft of merchandise was reported at CVS on Fourth Avenue.

-7:14 p.m.: criminal damaging. Police are investigating a report a ignition/steering was damaged on a 1985 Chevrolet in the 900 block of South Vandemark Road.

-4:52 p.m.: criminal damaging. Two truck tires, valued at $200, were reported damaged on a silver 2000 Chevrolet truck in the 500 block of Campbell Road.

-3:22 p.m.: criminal mischief. A suspicious marking on a vehicle was reported in the 1000 block of Wapakoneta Avenue.

-5:20 a.m.: criminal mischief. A black 2005 Pontiac was reported egged in the 700 block of North Wagner Avenue.

-12:59 p.m.: assault. A warrant was issued after an alleged assault was investigated.

Crashes

Shannon M. Bryant, 31, of Sidney, was cited with assured clear distance ahead after a two-vehicle crash on Monday at 4:22 p.m.

Bryant was traveling eastbound on Russell Road when she failed to see and rear-ended items that were extended out from a trailer being towed by a stopped vehicle in front of her.

The other vehicle was driven by Aaron J. Wehrman, 35, of Minster. According to the crash report, the items that extended from Wehrman’s trailer didn’t meet the requirements to have a red flag on them because it extended less than four feet from the trailer’s rear gate, which is not a violation of the Sidney Municipal ordinance codes.

-1:39 a.m.: medical. Medics responded to a call.

MONDAY

-10:34 p.m.: fire alarm. Crews responded to an alarm.

-8:09 p.m.: open burn. Firefighters conducted an open burn investigation.

-7:53 p.m.: carbon monoxide. Firefighters conducted an open burn CO investigation.

-1:08 to 8:19 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to five calls.
