“American Pie” icon Don McLean to take the Holland Stage

BELLEFONTAINE — The historic Holland Theatre will welcome Don McLean to the stage on Thursday, May 5, at 7:30 p.m. as part of the Grammy winner’s 50th Anniversary “American Pie” Tour.

One of the songs that helped define the 20th century, “American Pie” still goes to the heart as soon as McLean plays this classic at concerts. The 76-year-old singer-songwriter will also perform hits such as “Vincent (Starry Starry Night)” and “And I Love You So” as well as newer pieces.

Tickets go on sale March 3 and 4 to Holland Theatre members; members can call 937-592-9002 or stop by the box office at 127 E. Columbus Ave., Bellefontaine, beginning at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 3, until 5 p.m., with the same hours on Friday. Complimentary membership tickets cannot be applied to this show. Tickets for adults will be priced at $90, $75, and $60. Tickets for most seats are available to youth 17 and under for just $5.
