SIDNEY — No one was cited after a one-vehicle rollover crash on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, Austin David Lee Schutz, 16, of Houston, was traveling northeast on state Route 66 when he failed to maneuver a left-hand curve and drove off the right side of the road. Schutz slid through a ditch before rolling over. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene by Meyers Garage.
Schutz was transported to Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy by Spirit Medical Transport with possible injuries.
A one-vehicle rollover accident involving only the driver resulted in minor injuries in the 4000 block of state Route 66. The car rolled at around 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 15. The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash.
