SIDNEY — Shelby County Animal Rescue Foundation is inviting the public to Furtastic Friday on March 24 from 5-7 p.m. at Lowes in Sidney.
Fur-tastic Friday is an event that is coordinated by SCARF and The Shelby County Animal Shelter. This event is part of SCARF’s mission to support the Shelby County Animal Shelter in safe adoptions, education & community outreach. During Fur-Tastic Friday, the public is invited to interact and visit with some of the current residents of the shelter on the fourth Friday of every month. Some months this event is held at the shelter, but other times, there are businesses that volunteer their space.
“The Sidney Lowes have kindly invited us to use their business to host Fur-Tastic Friday on March 24th. This is a free event and it does not require any registration,” said President Julie Ehemann. “If you would like to come, simply show up any time during the event to have fun with the furry friends of the shelter. We encourage you to show your excitement for Fur-Tastic Friday by sharing pictures on social media, and commenting on our posts letting us know you will be there.”
