-12:34 p.m.: crash. Deputies and Sidney Fire responded to a crash with injuries in the area of Kuther Road and Millcreek Road.

-10:37 a.m.: property damage. Deputies responded to property damage in the 7000 block of Pasco Montra Road.

FRIDAY

-11:40 p.m.: property damage. Deputies responded to property damage in the 3000 block of Wapakoneta Avenue.

-1:15 p.m.: crash. Deputies, Sidney and Lockington Fire responded to a crash with injuries in the 2000 block of County Road 25A.

-12:06 p.m.: crash. Deputies responded to a crash with injuries at mile marker 89 on Interstate 75.

Crashes

No one was cited after deputies responded to a one-vehicle crash on July 1 at 12:34 p.m.

Lyndsey Nicole Krieg, 28, of Houston, was traveling westbound on Millcreek Road and she thought a vehicle on Kuther Road was about to enter the intersection, so she drove right off the roadway to avoid an impact. Krieg then struck a utility pole and a utility box.

Krieg’s vehicle was towed by Mantor’s Towing and Krieg was taken by Sidney EMS to Wilson Health with suspected minor injuries.

• No one was cited after deputies responded to a one-vehicle crash on July 1 at 10:35 a.m.

Caleb M. Thomas, 40, of Anna, was traveling southwest bound on Pasco Montra Road when he failed to negotiate a curve in heavy rain, causing him to travel off the left side of the roadway and strike a guardrail. Thomas’s vehicle was towed by Elmer’s Towing.

• No one was cited after deputies responded to a one-vehicle crash on June 30 at 1:15 p.m.

Brian Lloyd Alten, 47, of Riverside, was traveling southbound on County Road 25A when he crossed the center line and drove off the left side of the roadway, striking a utility pole. The vehicle was towed by Wrecker’s Towing and Alten was taken by Sidney EMS to Wilson Health with suspected serious injuries.

• Rana Jabran Dilawar, 27, of Woodbridge, Ontario, Canada, was cited with failure to control after deputies responded to a one-vehicle crash on June 30 at 11:40 p.m.

Dilawar was driving a semi-truck on the exit ramp of Interstate 75 attempting to make a right turn onto County Road 25A when he cut the corner too tight and struck a guardrail with the trailer. The trailer went over the guardrail and became wedged in between the trailer tires. The semi was towed by Wrecker’s Towing.

• Jozlin Cierra Taylor, 20, of Piqua, was cited with failure to yield at a stop sign after Fort Loramie Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on June 29 at 11:11 a.m.

Taylor was stopped at the stop sign on Darke Shelby Road at the intersection of state Route 705. Jackie L. Allen, 73, of McKenzie, Tennessee, was traveling westbound on state Route 705. Taylor pulled out in front of Allen, causing a collision. Allen traveled off the roadway into a ditch and Taylor spun and struck a street sign.

The vehicle Taylor was driving was towed by Howell’s Towing and the vehicle Allen was driving was towed by Mayse’s Towing. Allen’s passenger was taken by Fort Loramie EMS to Wilson Health with suspected minor injuries.

• Traci Lynn Koontz, 52, of Sidney, was cited with right of way after the State Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle crash on June 28 at 2:28 p.m.

Amy Rose Wilson, 51, of New Bremen, was traveling southeast bound on state Route 29 approaching the intersection of Fort Loramie Swanders Road. Koontz was stopped at the stop sign on Fort Loramie Swanders Road and entered the intersection in front of Wilson, causing a collision. Koontz’s vehicle was towed by Mantor’s Towing and Wilson’s vehicle was towed by Mayse’s Towing.

• Kevin K. Luewski, 47, of Bay City, Michigan, was cited with rules for driving in marked lanes after the State Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle crash on June 28 at 7:52 a.m.

Luewski was driving a semi-truck traveling southbound on Interstate 75 and Carlos A. Aburto Ortiz, 55, of Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, was behind him, also driving a semi. Luewski traveled off the right side of the roadway. Ortiz moved into the left lane to avoid Luewski, but Luewski overcorrected while attempting to return to the right lane and struck Ortiz. The vehicle Ortiz was driving was towed by Wrecker’s Towing.

• William Brining, 65, of Sidney, was cited with right of way at a through highway after the State Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle crash on June 26 at 10:28 p.m.

Malachi Carnahan, 16, of Piqua, was traveling southbound on Miami Conservancy Road and Brining was traveling eastbound on Kaiser Road. Brining failed to yield at the stop sign and pulled out in front of Carnahan, causing a collision. Carnahan then went off the left side of the road and struck a bush.

The vehicle Carnahan was driving was towed by Elmer’s Towing and Brining’s vehicle was towed by Wrecker’s Towing. Carnahan was taken by Spirit EMS to Kettering Health in Piqua with suspected minor injuries, and Brining was taken by Spirit EMS to Wilson Health with suspected minor injuries.

• Kaydence Jovita Dorsten, 18, of Piqua, was cited with operation without reasonable control after the State Highway Patrol responded to a one-vehicle crash on June 26 at 2:07 p.m.

Dorsten was traveling southbound on Dawson Road when she drove off the right side of the roadway and overturned. The vehicle Dorsten was driving was towed by Mayse’s Towing and Dorsten was taken by Fort Loramie EMS to Wilson Health with suspected minor injuries.

• Hunter Michael Chase Gentry, 20, of New Carlisle, was cited with operation without reasonable control after the State Highway Patrol responded to a one-vehicle crash on June 25 at 5:23 a.m.

Gentry was traveling southbound on Interstate 75 when he drove off the right side of the roadway, struck an embankment and went airborne, then overturned multiple times. The vehicle was towed by Mantor’s Towing and Gentry had suspected minor injuries but refused EMS evaluation.
