SIDNEY — On May 23, Buckeye Ford became Germain Ford of Sidney.

According to Germain Motor Company Chief Operating Officer John Malishenko, Germain now has Chevrolet, GMC, Chrysler, Dodge, Ram, Jeep and Ford franchises in Sidney and has been in the city since March of 2021 when they took over the former Dan Hemm locations. Germain is a 75-year family-owned business from central Ohio and has dealerships in five states. They own dealerships for 20 brands, including Honda, Toyota and Kia.

“We retained all the existing associates and are primarily focused on ensuring they have the resources, tools and training they need to compete in today’s market. We have launched a new website and will continue to upgrade our digital transaction solutions for our existing customers in Sidney,” Malishenko said of the new Sidney location.
