FLETCHER – There is a new choice for weekly waste removal in Sidney and surrounding towns. Havenar Waste Removal is a family-owned small business with the same services as the large waste removal companies.

Firefighters Josh and Kendra Havenar, of Fletcher, recently started a waste removal business serving Sidney, Houston and Russia with potential expansion to Fort Loramie. They offer both residential and commercial waste removal, providing weekly pick-up like the larger companies. They provide the large 96 gallon wheeled trash cans at no additional fee. Havenar Waste Removal also has commercial and residential dumpsters available, and can do larger bulk pick-ups. Unlike some of the larger companies, they do not add a fuel surcharge on their services.

“We saw a need and realized this was a great opportunity,” said Kendra. “We know there are bigger trash companies, but this is a small business and people like to support small businesses.”

The Havenars have two trucks – an automatic side loader to pick up residential trash and another truck to pick up dumpsters. They both earned their CDLs in preparation for their new endeavor. With their firefighter schedules, 24 hours on – 48 hours off, doing waste removal easily fits in their lives.

Kendra said, “We just want to do the best we can and give the best service around.”

Havenar Waste Removal is based in Miami County, with service to all surrounding areas. To schedule service with Havenar Waste Removal call 937-570-3091. They can also be found on Facebook at Havenar Waste Removal.
