St. Marys Avenue between West Russell Road and Interstate 75 is once again open to through traffic after being closed since June due to construction. The road, which is also part of state Route 29, was repaved. Fourth Avenue was extended through the new Burr Oak Mill subdivision to connect with St. Marys Avenue. Fourth Avenue was also closed over the summer just south of Longfellow Primary School. The road also reopened last week after repairs were completed.
