Football roundup: Lehman Catholic beats Southeastern 47-19

SOUTH CHARLESTON — The Lehman Catholic Cavaliers took a 47-19 victory over Southeastern on Friday at Southeastern High School.

The Cavaliers held a two touchdown lead at the half 26-12 and didn’t look back. They added three more touchdowns and only surrendered one score in the second half.

Lehman (1-1) is back in action on Saturday, Sept. 8 at Sidney Memorial Stadium at 7 p.m. against Benjamin Logan.

Fort Loramie

Fort Loramie (0-2) fell to Versailles (2-0) 41-0 on Friday at Hole Field.

Fort Loramie had five turnovers in the first half, all of which resulted in Tigers scores. Versailles held a 35-0 lead going into the half.

Fort Loramie was able to hold the Tigers to just six points in the second half, but were unable to create any offense.

Fort Loramie next plays at Covington at 7 p.m. on Friday.

Versailles rounds out its streak of home games with a matchup with Delphos St. John’s at Hole Field at 7 p.m. on Friday.
