Watercutters to celebrate 50th anniversary

MINSTER — Daniel and Nita Watercutter will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 13.

The former Nita Egbert and Daniel Watercutter were married on Sept. 14, 1974 at United Church of Christ in Kettlersville. Rev. Carl Knoch and Fr. George Stenz officiated the ceremony.

Nita Watercutter is the daughter of Fred and Louise Egbert and Daniel is the son of Norbert and Frances Watercutter.

The couple has one child, Angela Watercutter, of Brooklyn, New York.

Nita Watercutter is retired after 45 years in engineering and Dan Watercutter is retired after a 45-year career in sales and marketing career in the trucking industry.

Nita Watercutter enjoys knitting and crocheting in winter months and working outside in summer months. Dan Watercutter enjoys volunteering for Sacred Heart Church and driving for Catholic Social Services. The couple enjoys going to Ohio State road games, traveling to Hilton Head Island and traveling to New York to visit their daughter.

A celebration will be held on Sept. 13 at The Bridge with family and friends.
