SIDNEY — Taylor Muter loves helping people relax. She brings this passion into her new business Taylor LA Beauty, an addition to Valentinez Spa located at 500 E. Court Street, Building B, Suite 3.
Muter uses a relaxation approach in all her services, including waxing, relaxation massage, facials, body buffing and more. She also uses an all-natural line vegan of skin care, Green Envee, that has no additives or preservatives.
Muter is excited to offer body buffing, a service she said no one else in the area offers. Body buffing, she explained, is similar to buffing a car — there is a machine that uses a lush cloth to exfoliate the body, then a second cloth which applys a cocoa shea lotion.
This process makes the skin super soft as well as removing hair. Muter said, “It is very relaxing, it feels like a good massage.” She recommends body buffing once a month for maintenance, but also said it is a great service before a special event.
Taylor LA Beauty has a natural boho vibe, with relaxing spa music playing in the background. Muter said, “I love massaging. I like making people relax and feel good.”
For the month of September, Muter is offering 25 percent off all services.
Services are available by appointment; appointments can be made through her Facebook page Taylor La Beauty, or at linktr.ee/taylorlabeauty. The hours are Monday and Thursday 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sundays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Muter’s dream is to be able to quit her shift job at a factory and run her spa full-time.
