The Houston area Trick-or-Treat Night will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 31. The Houston Fire Department will pass out candy to trick or treaters.
Houston Community Association is having a pizza night on the first Friday of each month from October through March. The first one is Oct. 4 from 5 to 9 p.m. For dine-in, the address of the center is 5005 Russia-Houston Road, and for carry-out, call 937-295-3598 to order.
The turkey/ham Dinner will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 10. The dinner will be a sit-down meal inside the building. The menu is ham/turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, corn, sweet potato casserole, dressing, dinner rolls, dessert, and coffee or juice. A free-will offering will be accepted for the meal.
