A Shelby County Sheriff’s Deputy speaks with a man next to a Jeep that had been surrounded by law enforcement at gun point at the intersection of North Main Avenue and East North Street at around 8 p.m. on Wednesday. Witnesses reported that an occupant of the vehicle was reportedly not being allowed to leave the vehicle. A woman was handcuffed and then released. A witnesses said at least four people were in the vehicle at the time it was stopped. Members of the group were allowed to drive the vehicle away after answering questions. A woman was seen removing a garbage bag from the vehicle and walking away from the other people riding in the Jeep.
