Weigandt Real Estate awarded “Business of the Year”

The Southwestern Auglaize County Chamber of Commerce recently awarded Weigandt Real Estate and Development its 2024 “Business of the Year” award at their annual awards luncheon on at Faith Alliance Church in New Bremen.

Dick Weigandt originally founded the company in 1977 as a real estate agency out of his residence located on South Main Street in Minster. The business has continued to grow and diversify over the years.

Today, the company has multiple divisions including a real estate company, a land development company and a construction company with many repeat customers. The company now represents customers in the residential, commercial and industrial markets.

Today, the company has over 50 fulltime employees and is celebrating its 47th year in business. In the Chamber of Commerce’s nomination it was stated “Weigandt Real Estate and Development has continued to have a positive impact on our local communities in many ways. This commercial, industrial and residential real estate agency and development company continues to break ground on multiple new projects that spur growth for our area.

Not only do they continue to support local sports programs, schools and events, this company has literally expanded the growth of Minster, New Bremen, New Knoxville and multiple other local communities with over nine residential housing developments. This progressive company has much to be proud of. They do not just build homes; they build neighborhoods for the betterment of our communities.
