Jackson Center firefighters carry an injured person to a waiting Careflight helicopter on Friday in a farm field along the 18500 block of Meranda Road. The person was injured when the Jeep they were in left the road at around 11:15 p.m. snapping a utility pole. The Jeep continued forward several hundred feet into the farm field. The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the one vehicle crash. Anna rescue also responded.
