Crashes

Lawrence Monnin, 82, of Sidney, was cited with disobedience to traffic control devices after a two-vehicle crash on Oct. 21 at 5:57 p.m.

Monnin was traveling southbound on North Ohio Avenue approaching the intersection of East North Street. Harriet Elliott, 76, of Quincy, was traveling westbound on East North Street through the intersection. Monnin failed to stop at the red light and struck Elliott.

• Dominic S. Durr, 42, at large, was cited with failure to stop after a crash after a two-vehicle crash on Oct. 21 at 12:05 p.m.

A car owned by Sirius M. Gibson, of Sidney, was parked in front of a building on Countryside Lane when Durr struck the vehicle while backing out. He then left the scene.

• Christopher Wilt, 19, of Sidney, was cited with failure to control/weaving after a two-vehicle crash on Oct. 20 at 11:49 a.m.

Wilt was traveling northbound on North Main Avenue when he changed lanes, lost control and struck a parked car owned by Roy F. Morrison, of Sidney.

• Gretchen R. Smith, 41, of Sidney, was cited with operation without reasonable control after a one-vehicle crash on Oct. 19 at 5:55 p.m.

Smith was traveling eastbound on state Route 47 when she lost control, causing her to strike the wall on the left side and the guardrail on the right side. The vehicle was towed by Elmer’s Towing and Smith was taken to Wilson Health with possible injuries.
