Food pantries to open

PIQUA — SafeHaven will be opening two food pantries at the sites they serve on Nov. 6. The pantries are for any adult in need of mental health support and meeting the income guidelines.

The Susan Duncan Food Pantry will be opening at the Miami County site at 633 N. Wayne St., Piqua, on Mondays from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.; and the Darke County site at 322 Fair St., Greenville, on Wednesdays from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Participants must show a photo ID and proof of residency.

The pantry is named after Sharon Duncan, who has been a staff member with SafeHaven for 28 years.
