Grand jury issues indictments for domestic violence, other charges

SIDNEY — The Shelby County grand jury issued indictments for failure to provide change of address, domestic violence, and violating a protection order, among other charges, on Thursday.

Joe L. Davis, III, 37, at large, was indicted on one count failure to provide change of address, a third degree felony, for failure to notify the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office of a change of address, having previously been convicted of rape and failure to provide change of address.

Jeffrey A. Meyer, aka Jeffery A. Meyer, 39, currently in the Shelby County Jail, was indicted on one count domestic violence, a third degree felony, for punching an adult female household member twice in the left eye with a closed fist, with previous convictions.

Bridget A. O’Brien, 33, currently in the Shelby County Jail, was indicted on one count strangulation, a fourth degree felony, and one count domestic violence, a first degree misdemeanor, for choking an adult male household member and punching him in the neck.

Jeffery J. Schwartz, aka Jeffrey J. Schwartz, 34, currently in the Shelby County Jail, was indicted on one count domestic violence, a third degree felony, for swinging a knife at an adult male victim, and scratching and hitting the victim in the face, after previous convictions.

Charles T. Price, 63, currently in the Shelby County Jail, was indicted on one count domestic violence, a third degree felony, for striking an adult female household member in the lower body several times after previous convictions.

Dustin E. Hughes, 38, of Sidney, was indicted on one count domestic violence, a third degree felony, for grabbing an adult female household member around the throat and holding her against a well, after previous convictions.

Nicholas A. Johnson, 33, currently in the Shelby County Jail, was indicted on one count violating a protection order, a fifth degree felony, for being at the protected party’s address, after a prior conviction.

Jeromy J. Miller, 48, currently in the Shelby County Jail, was indicted on one count vandalism, a fifth degree felony, and one count obstructing official business, a second degree misdemeanor, for head butting the officer’s cruiser and breaking the window during the course of his arrest, and for refusing to provide his identification to the officer.

Roger La Vern Gross, Jr., 59, of Sidney, was indicted on one count aggravated possession of drugs, a third degree felony, and one count possessing criminal tools, a fifth degree felony, for methamphetamine and a bag used for the purpose of storing, transporting and abusing methamphetamine.

Ashley D. Line, 32, currently in the Shelby County Jail, was indicted on three counts aggravated trafficking in drugs, a third degree felony, and one count aggravated trafficking in drugs, a fourth degree felony, for methamphetamine.

Devon O. Hoover, 24, at large, was indicted on four counts trafficking in drugs, a fourth degree felony, and two counts aggravated trafficking in drugs, a third degree felony, for selling or offering to sell marijuana, methamphetamine and LSD in the vicinity of a school zone

Sheena S. Caisse, 40, of Marysville, was indicted on one count possession of drugs, a fifth degree felony, and one count possessing criminal tools, a fifth degree felony, for cocaine and a paper used for the purpose of storing, transporting and abusing cocaine.

Kaden G. Stambaugh, 24, of Sidney, was indicted on one count aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth degree felony, one count possession of drugs, a first degree misdemeanor, and one count possessing criminal tools, a fifth degree felony, for Etonitazepyne (N-Pyrrolidino Etonitazene), Xylazine, and a baggie, straw, pipe and other drug paraphernalia.

Jesse A. Railsback, 42, of New Madison, was indicted on one count aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth degree felony, and one count possessing criminal tools, a fifth degree felony, for methamphetamine and a syringe.

Richard Joseph Boff, 40, currently in the Shelby County Jail, was indicted on one count breaking and entering, a fifth degree felony, for trespassing in an unoccupied business and committing a theft offense by stealing food and drink from the business.
