Community Foundation of Shelby County hires new donor relation director

Jordan Knepper has been named as Donor Relations Director at the Community Foundation of Shelby County. Knepper joins the Foundation after serving as the Executive Director of the Piqua Arts Council for the past eleven years.

During his tenure with the Piqua Arts Council, the organization experienced unprecedented growth in operations and programming. Knepper was recognized by multiple national organizations as an expert on the Creative Economy in Rural Environments and has twice been recognized by Ohio Business Magazine as one of the Top 500 Most Influential Executives in Ohio.

Knepper will be the point of contact for individuals who have established charitable fund, as well as those who are considering a fund to benefit causes and projects in Shelby County. He will also be a resource for attorneys, insurance professionals, and financial advisors who are assisting clients with charitable giving.

“We are thrilled to have Jordan join our staff and assist donors who want to give throughout Shelby County and beyond,” Marian Spicer, the organization’s executive director, said. “His background in donor development and running a not-for-profit organization are extremely beneficial. He was raised and still lives in Jackson Center, so he understands how special Shelby County is.”
