The Sidney Tree Board is excited to announce that the 2024 Tree Sale is underway. There are eight trees selected to be a part of the sale this year.
Orders are due no later than noon on Oct. 11. Trees will be delivered to the city in five to 15 gallon containers and available for pick up from 10 a.m. to noon on Oct. 29 at the City of Sidney Service Center at 415 South Vandemark Road.
Order forms can be found online or are available for pick up at City Hall. Please drop off or mail orders to City of Sidney Service Center, 415 South Vandemark Road, Sidney, Ohio 45365, along with a check or money order payable to the City of Sidney. Cash or Credit Card payment will not be accepted.
The City Tree Board is also giving away approximately 40 trees to lucky winners this year. The lottery winners will have trees planted in public right-of-way in front of their homes.
Property owners will be responsible for watering and caring for the trees after planting. Entries are restricted to property owners within the corporation limits and one entry per property location. Entries must be submitted by noon on Oct. 4. Winners will be published online the same day.
