Sidney Alive hosts Boos & Brews festival in downtown

Sidney Alive is once again holding its annual fall festival this year on Oct. 11 and 12.

On Friday, Oct. 11, the Downtown Sidewalk Sales, The Boos & Brews Craft Show brought to you by The Window Guy & Co., and the annual Downtown Chocolate Walk will kick off the festivities. The Downtown Chocolate Walk is a ticketed event, and tickets can be purchased online via the Sidney Alive website sidneyalive.org/events.

On Saturday, Oct. 12, at 8 a.m.m the craft show will continue along with the last day of the Great Sidney Farmer’s Market and a coffee tasting, where coffee lovers from all over can come and try different brews from five local coffee roasters including our own downtown shops Greenhaus Coffee and The Waiting Room as well as additional vendors High Grounds, Sappho and Her Beans and Convoy Road Coffee Roasters.

There will be some family fun that will include a costume contest starting at 11 a.m. (registration from 10-10:45 a.m.) for children up to age 12 as well as group category. There will also be a Kids Fun Zone with kids’ activities from local organizations and a downtown merchant Trick or Treat around the downtown businesses and farmer’s market vendors that will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
