Sidney Police reports: Wednesday to Monday

OCOTBER 2

-1:19 p.m.: crash. Sylvia P. Maika, 32, of Riverview, Florida, was traveling south on Ohio Avenue approaching Court Street in the right lane. Robert N. Helmandollar, 87, of Liberty, was traveling south on Ohio Avenue approaching Court Street in the left lane. Maika moved to the left lane and the back of her vehicle struck the front of Helmandollar’s vehicle.

OCTOBER 3

-11:25 a.m.: crash. Barbara J. Treon, 83, of Sidney, was traveling south on South Ohio Avenue in the right lane. Katelyn A. Gayer, 17, of Jackson Center, turned left from state Route 47 onto South Ohio Avenue into the left lane. Treon attempted to change lanes into the left lane and Gayer struck Treon as she changed lanes.

-6:12 p.m.: crash. Roger Woods, 63, of Sidney, was traveling south on South Fourth Avenue when he struck a speed limit sign. Woods reentered the roadway and continued south.

OCTOBER 4

-8:29 a.m.: crash. Shannan K. Epley, 25, of Sidney, was traveling west on East North Street and entered the intersection at North Ohio Avenue while the traffic light was red. Mark H. Hoge, 40, of New Knoxville, was traveling south on North Ohio Avenue in the left lane and struck Epley as he traveled in the path.

-2:40 p.m.: complaint. Jordyne R. Carey, 18, of Sidney, was arrested for theft without consent.

-5:15 p.m.: crash. Mailee G. Barhorst, 21, of West Milton, was traveling south on state Route 29 in the right lane. Katrissa S. Doseck, 35, of Sidney, was traveling southbound on state Route 29 in the left lane. Barhorst turned into the right lane and Doseck struck Barhorst.

OCTOBER 5

-2:43 p.m.: complaint. Carl F. Deter, 43, of Sidney, was arrested for domestic violence and unlawful restraint.

-9:42 p.m.: crime in progress. James H. Oliphant, 49, of Dayton, was arrested for assault.

OCTOBER 6

-3:11 a.m.: crime in progress. Darrell M. Jones, 36, of Sidney, was arrested for public indecency and burglary.

-12:47 p.m.: crash. Abby M. Heath, 33, of Sidney, was at a stop sign on Ruth Street at county Road 25 A and backed into the empty parked car of Jamie L. Allen, of Sidney, while turning around to avoid an accident.

-3:00 p.m.: order of protection. Steven S. Reber, 73, of Sidney, was arrested for violating a protection order or consent agreement.

-3:05 p.m.: court summons/citation. Felicia A. Skeens, 32, of Sidney, was arrested for endangering children.

OCTOBER 7

-12:00 a.m.: crime in progress. Sherry L. Banks, 55, was arrested for disorderly conduct including interfering with others.

-11:48 a.m.: court summons/citation. Adam L. Roderick, 35, of Sidney, was arrested for telecommunications harassment.

-5:22 p.m.: warrant. Isaiah J. Fahnestock, 25, of Sidney, was arrested for receiving stolen property.

-6:00 p.m.: court summons/citation. Stephanie D. Strunk, 41, of Sidney, was arrested for violating a protection order or consent agreement.
