OCTOBER 15
-6:46 a.m.: crash. Charles E. Shepherd, 76, of Sidney, was stopped at a red light on West Michigan Street near the I-75 ramp. Brian K. Hewitt, 44, of Sidney, was traveling behind Shepherd in the same lane. Hewitt failed to stop in time and rear ended Shepherd. Hewitt, then, left the scene of the crime.
-6:57 a.m.: Jarvis T. Jackson, 35, of Sidney, was traveling west on Fair Road in the right lane near Fourth Avenue. Robert D. Martin, 16, of Sidney, was traveling east on Fair Road in the left turn lane near Fourth Avenue. Jackson turned right onto Fourth Avenue. Marin turned left onto Fourth Avenue. Both vehicles struck each other as they turned. Since both vehicles moved after the accident, no citations were issues because no evidence could prove fault.
-8:20 a.m.: crash. Malinda A. Lovett, 27, of Sidney, and Dannielle M. Branscum, 37, of Sidney were both traveling east on Russell Road. Branscum slowed to turn into a parking lot. Lovett was not able to avoid Branscum as she slowed, striking the rear of Branscum’s vehicle.
-9:11 a.m.: crash. Sonia A. Stockton, 63, of Lima, was traveling south on North Ohio Avenue near West North Street in the right lane. Ryan E. Hall, 48, of Sidney, was traveling east on North Ohio Avenue near West North Street in the left lane. Stockton attempted to turn left into an alley from the right lane. Stockton struck Hall during the attempt to turn.
-9:23 a.m.: crash. Neil A. Reigelsperger, 37, of Sidney, was at the stop sign on East Ridge Boulevard at Dingman Slagle Road, facing north. Deidra M. Parker, 30, of Bellefontaine, was traveling east on Dingman Slagle Road at East Ridge Boulevard. Reigelsperger began to travel from the stop sign onto Dingman Slagle Road and into the path of Parker. Parker struck the left side of Reigelsperger’s vehicle.
OCTOBER 16
-2:37 p.m.: warrant. Keisha T. M. Sheridan, 27, of Sidney, was arrested on a warrant.
-4:28 p.m.: warrant. Thomas C. Slife, 36, of Sidney, was arrested on a warrant.
-9:15 p.m.: warrant. Mya L. E. Browning, 25, of Sidney, was arrested on a warrant.
OCTOBER 17
-3:40 a.m.: crash. Lucas G. Adams, 20, of Sidney, was traveling north on Foraker Avenue, failed to control his vehicle, and struck two parked cars belonging to Michael A. Keiser, of Sidney.
-3:58 a.m.: crime in progress. Lucas G. Adams, 20, of Sidney, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
-10:00 p.m.: crime in progress. Dustin R. Mullens, 26, of Winchester, Indiana, was arrested for assault.
-10:25 p.m.: crime in progress. Jordan M. Middlemiss, 25, of Sidney, was arrested for criminal damaging.
