TIPP CITY — Tipp City Area Arts Council and the Tipp Monroe Community Services have announced that their Gingerbread House Decorating Contest will be Dec. 4 from 1 to 4 p.m. in the basement of the Township Building at the corner of Main and 3rd streets, Tipp City.

Four-person teams may comprise children and/or adults; however, all-children teams must be accompanied by an adult. Icing and houses are included in the entry fee but teams must provide their own candy and other edible decorations. No premade elements are permitted. Entry fees are $35 for new teams (includes the cost of a gingerbread cottage; $20 for returning teams, who already have purchased a gingerbread cottage. Judging will start at approximately 3 p.m. with prizes awarded for Overall Cohesive Design, Originality/Uniquenes, and Christmas/Holiday Spirit. Call 937-667-8631 for information.
