Childhood cancer awareness spaghetti dinner set for Saturday

BOTKINS — To offset the cost of the Rumble Against Childhood Cancer event in August that got rained out, a spaghetti dinner will be held this Saturday, Sept. 24.

The event will be held from 4 p.m. to midnight at Meyer’s Tavern, 303 N. Main St., Botkins, with dinner served from 4-7 p.m. They will be auctioning off items throughout the night, including gun raffles, and 50/50 drawings as well.

Drive-thru pick-up is available if you can’t stay to eat. The meal includes spaghetti, salad, and bread-sticks.

The band OutSpoken will perform from 8 p.m. to midnight.

Pre-sale tickets for the dinner are $8 for adults. At the door the price will be $10 for adults, $5 for children ages five to 10, and children under 5-years-old will eat for free.
