Anna Board of Education

ANNA — The Anna Board of Education will meet on Monday, Oct. 10, at 6:30 in middle school room 209.

The board will hear reports from the elementary, middle, and high schools. During the treasurers report they will discuss the five-year forecast, which requires board action. During the superintendent’s report they will discuss board reports, OSBA Capital Conference, architectural selection process and policy updates.

Under new business they will hear recommendations to employ Brian Wilt as a custodian, to purchase property, recognize winter sports, and to award supplemental contracts. The board will also vote on a resolution to approve the OFCC Project Agreement. An executive session is scheduled to discuss the employment of public employees.

Sidney City Council

SIDNEY — The Sidney City Council will meet Monday, Oct. 10, at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers in the Municipal Building. They will hear a presentation on Life Saving Awards.

It is expected for council to adopt an ordinance for Sidney’s new zone map. Council will also be introduced to an ordinance to amend sections of two codified water utility usage ordinances.

Council is also expected to adopt two resolutions for the authorization of the city manager to enter into fire and ambulance service contracts with various townships and to authorize consent for participation in the Ohio Department of Transportation funded municipal bridge inspection program.

In addition, council will also hold an executive session to consider the purchase of property for public purposes, the preparation of negotiations or bargaining sessions with public employees and for the employment of a public official.

Jackson Center Village Council

JACKSON CENTER — Jackson Center Village Council will meet Monday, Oct. 10, at 7 p.m. in council chambers.

The board is scheduled to hold preliminary discussions about an amendment to flag zoning and discuss the medical marijuana moratorium. Various reports will be heard. An executive session to discuss the discipline of a public employee is also planned.

Miami Conservancy District Board of Directors

DAYTON — The Board of Directors of the Miami Conservancy District and its subdistricts will meet Wednesday, Oct. 12, at 12:30 p.m. at the district’s office, 38 E. Monument Ave., Dayton. The meeting will be preceded by a work session at 10 a.m.

Botkins Board of Education

BOTKINS — The Botkins School District’s Board of Education will meet Wednesday, Oct. 12, at 7 p.m. in the high school media center.

The board will hear reports from the treasurer and from various committees. The board is scheduled to approve the 5-year forecast; hire an aide and ESL teacher, hire extracurricular staff members and an athletic aide and approve donations, volunteers and continuing contracts for employees.
