SIDNEY — The Sidney City Planning Commission approved three replats during Monday evening’s meeting.

The board granted the request of Choice One Engineering, on behalf of Ron Asbury, for the replat of three lots to create one new lot at 401 Sixth Ave., in the community business district.

Choice One Engineering, on behalf of Grace Baptist Church, was given permission for the replat of seven parcels to create one new lot at 137 Edgewood Drive in the single family district.

Also granted for Choice One Engineering, on behalf of Hi-Grade Oil Co., was the request for the replat of one parcel to create two new lots at the corner of Campbell Road and Vandemark Road in the general industry district.

In other business, Community Services Director Barbara Dulworth reminded and encouraged the board to attend the third and final Comprehensive Plan meeting set for Thursday, Oct. 20. The public forum will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Historic Sidney Theatre, 120 W. Poplar St. Citizens are encouraged to attend and share their voice about Sidney’s future development.
