FRIDAY

-6:01 a.m.: theft. Kroger on Michigan Street reported the theft of Christmas tree.

-1:13 a.m.: domestic violence. Kayla Barrett, 22, 1579 E. Court St., Apt. C, was arrested for domestic violence.

THURSDAY

-2:42 p.m.: violate protection order. Ronald Satterwhite, 25, at large, was arrested for violate protection order.

-2:47 a.m.: contempt. Jeffrey Caudill, 35, Lakeview, was arrested on an active warrant.

WEDNESDAY

-11:35 p.m.: theft. Dustin Burkholder, 21, 14933 Sharp Road, reported that his wallet containing $220, ID, and bank card was stolen while at Walmart on Michigan Street.

-4:18 p.m.: theft. Jerry VanHorn, 47, 234 S. Miami Ave., reported the theft of $90 from his safe.

-2 p.m.: purpose to commit theft. Mark Watkins, 47, Quincy, reported someone attempted to break into his storage unit. Someone attempted to drill out the lock.

-9:42 a.m.: criminal damaging. It was reported someone broke the Plexiglas out of a park kiosk announcement board at 1000 Whipp Road.

Crashes

Lisa Mowen, 50, Yorkshire, was cited with left turn one way with two lanes following a two-vehicle collision on Wednesday at 6:35 p.m.

Mowen was traveling northbound on North Main Avenue in the far right lane when she attempted to make a westbound turn causing the driver of another vehicle traveling northbound in the far left lane on North Main Avenue to strike her.

The driver of the other vehicle was Skylar Brown, 20, 1574 S. Main Ave.

• Thomas Wolaver, 45, 627 E. Court St., was cited with failure to control after a crash Wednesday at 4:15 p.m.

Wolaver was traveling eastbound on East Court Street when he failed to maintain control of his vehicle and struck a utility pole.

• Victoria Parker, 25, Maplewood, was cited with traffic control device after a three-vehicle collision on Wednesday at 3:44 p.m.

Parker was traveling southbound on North Main Avenue when she ran a red light and was struck by the vehicle driven by Gary Walker, 56, Rutledge St., that was traveling eastbound on East Russell Road through the intersection of North Main Avenue on a green light, who was then rear-ended by the vehicle traveling behind him driven by Joshua Doak, 34, 811 Arrowhead Drive, Apt. C.

• Lacy Gillem, 19, Minster, was cited with assured clear distance ahead after a three-vehicle collision on Wednesday at 1:50 p.m.

Gillem was traveling westbound on West Russell Road and approaching the intersection of St. Marys Avenue when she struck the rear of the vehicle driven by Colby Starliper, 22, 728 South Main Ave., that was stopped in traffic which caused Starliper to rear-end the vehicle driven by Darrell Nichols Jr., 44, 139 W. Robinwood St., that was also stopped in traffic in front of him.

• Sharon Taylor, 72, Minster, was cited with failure to control on Tuesday at 5:59 p.m.

Taylor was traveling eastbound on state Route 47 when she went left of center and struck another vehicle on its left side that was stopped at a red light facing westbound on state Route 47. Taylor left the scene but returned prior to police arrival.

The driver of the other vehicle was Mitzi Eisenhardt, 57, 7705 Stoker Road.

• Toni Saunders, 21, 123 East Dallas St., was cited with failure to control after a crash on Tuesday 5:36 a.m.

Saunders was traveling northbound on South Miami Avenue approaching South Street when she struck the parked vehicle of Melissa Opsomer, 311 S. Miami Ave.

• Leonard Young, 75, 5642 Patterson Halpin Road, was cited with right of way from private drive after a two-vehicle collision on Monday at 2:24 p.m.

Young was attempting to make a left turn onto Michigan Street when he struck another vehicle traveling westbound on Michigan Street.

The driver of the other vehicle was Clarence Stephens II, 52, 15330 Ft. Loramie Swanders Road.

-12:28 a.m.: medical. Medics responded to a call.

THURSDAY

-3:05 p.m.: fire. Crews responded to 1134 Ontario Court for a false fire alarm.

-6:33 a.m.: fire. Firefighters responded to Jackson Center for mutual aid for an fire investigation.

-4:35 a.m. to 6:49 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to 10 calls.

-1:05 a.m.: fire. Firefighters responded to a transformer fire.

WEDNESDAY

-10:15 p.m.: fire. Crews responded to a semitrailer fire.

-1:50 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to a crash with injuries.

-11:27 a.m. to 10:44 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to five calls.

A man suspected of being OVI crashed his car into the side of another vehicle trying to avoid him around 1 p.m. after he swerved into oncoming traffic on North Vandemark Road Friday, Nov. 25. The driver was on his way from the scene of a hit skip he had just been involved in.
