-4:49 a.m.: driving under the influence. Tandy Schaffer, 39, 2200 state Route 47, was arrested for OVI and stopping after accident.

-12:35 a.m.: theft. Veronica Stearns, 38, 1102 N. Main St., reported a mountain bike was stolen from her residence.

MONDAY

-3:12 p.m.: theft. Elisha Roth, 37, 315 Franklin Ave., reported someone took a window air conditioner from her residence.

-1:46 p.m.: prohibited standing or parking. Robin Rouse, 27, 306 Enterprise Ave., was arrested and issued a summons for prohibited parking places at the Sidney Municipal Court.

-11:09 a.m.: theft. Barbara Zeek, 78, 423 E. Robinhood St., reported someone she knows took her TV and pawned it at Cashland.

-9:55 a.m.: breaking and entering. Rodney Alexander, 69, 755 Campbell Road, reported someone entered his garage and took a miter saw and a scroll saw.

-4:32 a.m.: theft. Emily Powers, 50, 515 Culvert St., was arrested after Walmart on Michigan Street reported her shoplifting $267.93 in miscellaneous merchandise.

-3:10 a.m.: theft. Richard Thompson, 44, 320 Franklin Ave., reported someone took a window air conditioner sometime after 1 a.m. from his residence.

SUNDAY

-10:23 p.m.: criminal mischief. The right rear tire was reported damaged on the truck belonging to Chad Seger, 35, Minster, while parked in the Sidney High School parking lot during the evening hours.

-6:57 p.m.: theft. Kenneth Burdiss, 27, 1029 Broadway Ave., reported someone took his Go Pro camera from his vehicle overnight.

-2:15 p.m.: found property. A blue money bag was found at Hamilton Avenue and Riverbend Boulevard and was turned into the police department.

-9:31 a.m.: theft. Andrew Holthaus, 35, 414 New St., reported someone entered his unlocked truck and took his Toshiba laptop.

-5:36 a.m.: theft. Vivian Subler, 66, 928 McKinley Ave., reported someone took the garden hose and reel from her backyard.

-4:24 a.m.: defrauding a livery or hostelry. Charles Russell, 37, 811 Sixth Ave., was arrested after A Trust Cab, of Dayton, reported he failed to pay.

SATURDAY

-10:45 p.m.: criminal damaging. William Branscum, 47, 124 N. Pomeroy Ave., reported damage to a window at his residence.

-10:21 p.m.: criminal mischief. Brian Barlage, 54, Fort Loramie, reported criminal mischief at the Shelby County Fairgrounds.

-4:33 p.m.: criminal damaging. Viola Parke, 41, 821 S. Ohio Ave., reported her Iphone5 cellphone was damaged at the Arrowhead Apartments on Arrowhead Drive.

-1:11 p.m.: criminal damaging. CSX on Chestnut Avenue reported damage to six guard wire wooden post supports along the railroad depot yard.

-11:54 a.m.: criminal damaging. Brandon Unger, 45, 811 Chestnut Ave., reported damage to his rear windshield on his vehicle.

FRIDAY

-6:32 p.m.: probation violation. Valerie Cartwright, 37, 109 Wilkinson Ave., was arrested on an active warrant.

-4:28 p.m.: breaking and entering. Phase 5 Business Group, of Lorain, reported damage to an A/C unit and copper piping which occurred sometime in the past.

-2:32 p.m.: theft. Dale Kubichek, 61, 3417 W. Mason Road, reported his Kindle tablet was stolen from his vehicle.

-7 a.m.: theft. Georgia Spears, 64, 402 E. Court St., reported the portable air conditioner was stolen from her residence.

Accidents

Olivia Wilkins, 17, 220 E. South St., Apt. A, was cited with failure to control after an accident on Saturday at 4:24 p.m.

Wilkins was traveling westbound on East South Street and when attempting to park she sideswiped the front corner of another vehicle parked in front of 220 E. South St.

The owner of the other vehicle is Thomas Maynard, Apt. B.

• Jeffrey Speers, 33, Dayton, was cited with starting and backing vehicle after an accident on Friday at 3:12 p.m.

Speers was driving a semitrailer at 1501 Grove St. when he backed into a fire hydrant.

• Matthew Rittenberry, 26, Jackson Center, was cited for assured clear distance ahead after an accident on Friday at 2:48 p.m.

Rittenberry struck the rear of another vehicle stopped in traffic in front of Chase Bank on Michigan Street. He said he did not know the vehicle had stopped in front of him and when he looked up he hit the vehicle. His passenger, Brooke Smith, 22, 230 E. Poplar St., hit her head on the windshield, but refused to be transported to the hospital.

The driver of the other vehicle was Cory Eisenhardt, 28, of Anna.

• Gabbrielle Weymer, 16, 429 S. Main St., was cited with starting and backing after an accident on Friday at 1:58 p.m.

Weymer said she turned the wrong way onto the one-way of South Main Street and had pulled off to the left side of the street to get turned around. She said that she started backing up to attempt to go correct direction and as she was backing up she hit a motorcycle stopped at the light facing northbound on South Main Street at East Court Street. The motorcycle fell over to the right, but caused no injuries.

The driver of the of the motorcycle was Jeffery Epley, 59, Fair Oaks Road.

• Angele Bubeck, 43, Piqua, was cited with turning at intersections after an accident on Thursday at 2:44 p.m.

Bubeck was traveling east to west from Fulton Street and as she attempted to turn left on to Brooklyn Avenue she was struck by another vehicle.

The driver of the other vehicle was Avery Howell, 22, 614 Ardis Place. Howell was transported by Sidney Fire Department to Wilson Health.

TUESDAY

-4:49 a.m.: medical. Crews responded to an auto accident.

-2:29 to 8:16 a.m.: medical. Medics responded to three calls.

MONDAY

-5:17 p.m.: fire. Crews responded to the report of a fire alarm.

-2:23 to 9:38 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to four calls.

-12:41 p.m.: fire. Crews responded for mutual aid on a fire investigation.

-10:38 a.m.: fire. Crews responded to a fire alarm.

-9:58 a.m.: fire. Crews responded for mutual aid on a structure fire

-2:24 a.m. to 12:35 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to eight calls.

-2:11 a.m.: fire. Crews responded to 1220 Hazelnut Lane on the report of a smoke detector alarm due to bad batteries.

SUNDAY

-8:14 p.m.: fire. Crews responded to 811 Arrowhead Drive on the report of a grill fire. No problem was found upon arrival.

-12:34 to 11 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to four calls.

-7:26 p.m.: public assistance. Crews responded to 768 Countryside Lane for public assistance.
