WEDNESDAY

-2:37 p.m.: theft. Julia Walker, 55, 2355 Collins Drive, Apt. F, reported the theft of a diamond ring valued at $900.

-2:10 p.m.: contempt. Taidge Ritter, 21, at large., was arrested on a bench warrant.

10:22 a.m.: found property. A driver’s licence belonging to Andrew Miller, 34, 1627 Fair Oaks Drive, was found at 130 S. Miami Ave. and turned into the police department.

-9:53 a.m.: violate protection order. Nathan Graham, 27, at large, was arrested for violating a protection order.

-7:05 a.m.: theft. Katie Dumke, 23, 1125 Hilltop Ave., Apt. A, reported the theft of her ADP credit/debit card from her purse in her unlocked vehicle.

Accidents

Brandon Williams, 20, of Conover, was cited with assured clear distance ahead after a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday at 6:59 a.m.

Williams was westbound on West Russell Road at Sixth Avenue when he told police his breaks locked up and caused his vehicle strike the rear of the vehicle in front of him stopped for a school bus.

The driver of the other vehicle was Kane Guethie, 23, 2260 state Route 47.

Fire, rescue

THURSDAY

-9:37 a.m.: spill. Crews responded to a fuel spill.

-5:37 a.m.: fire. Crews responded to a 1389 Riverside Drive on the report of an an open burn. No problem was found upon arrival.

-4:55 a.m. to 1:07 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to three calls.

WEDNESDAY

-6:17 p.m.: stand by. Crews were to stand by at the Sidney Middle School on Fair Road, but were not needed due to the weather.

-4:15 p.m.: fire. Firefighters responded to a false fire alarm.

-2:46 to 11:34 pm.: medical. Medics responded to six calls.
