THURSDAY

-2:53 p.m.: burglary. Deputies were dispatched to 19122 May Road in Van Buren Township on the report of a broken window and kicked-in door and a stolen TV and air conditioner.

-1:19 p.m.: assault. Deputies responded to the report of an assault at the Sidney Middle School.

-10:21 a.m.: drugs. Deputies responded to the report of drugs at Anna Schools.

-7:42 a.m.: property damage accident. Deputies were dispatched to 3900 State Route 66 in Loramie Township on the report of a vehicle hit in the driveway overnight.

-1:57 a.m.: loud music. Deputies were dispatched to 10319 Black Fox Trail in Washington Township on the report of loud music.

WEDNESDAY

-5:14 p.m.: threats or harassment. Deputies were dispatched to the 9000 block of Riverview Place in Salem Township on the report of harassment.

-4:59 p.m.: suspicious car. Deputies were dispatched to 18025 Staley Road in Van Buren Township on the report of a suspicious car sitting at the wood-line of the residence.

-4:32 p.m.: investigative complaint. Deputies were dispatched to 21357 Maplewood Road in Salem Township on a request to speak with them about “the clowns.”

-4:19 p.m.: theft. Deputies were dispatched to 15660 Sharp Road in Franklin Township on the report of possible identity theft.

-4:10 p.m.: threats or harassment. Jackson Center Police were dispatched to Jackson Center School on the report of threats or harassment.

Accidents

No citations were issued following a two-vehicle collision on Wednesday at 8:07 a.m.

Trisha Boyd, 65, 2805 Wapakoneta Ave., Sidney, was traveling southbound on County Road 25A at Meranda Road when she struck the rear of the vehicle that had been stopped in front of her at the red light and was just beginning to pull forward.

The driver of the other vehicle was Dannielle Reed, 32, 14890 Sidney Freyburg Road, Anna.

• Misti Werner, 27, 1100 Wayne St., Troy, was cited with assured clear distance ahead after a two-vehicle collision on Tuesday at 12:27 p.m.

Werner was traveling southbound on Pasco Montra Road and failed to stop in time when she struck the left rear of the vehicle in front of her driven by Kathrene Ott, 37, 4137 Woodedge Drive, Bellbrook.

According to the Sheriff’s report, Ott refuse an ambulance but claimed to have back pain as a result of the crash.

• Jill Casto, 39, 423 Miami Conservancy Road, Piqua, was cited with assured clear distance ahead after a collision on Tuesday at 8:48 a.m.

Casto was traveling east on Museum Trail when she ran into the back of a parked Rumpke garbage truck that was parked on the side of the roadway with its lights flashing on Museum Trail for the driver who was out of the vehicle to collect garbage.

• No citations were issued following a two-vehicle collision on Monday at 6:45 p.m.

Tyler Robinson, 18, 4130 State Route 47, Fort Loramie, was traveling eastbound on Mason Road when he attempted to pass and then struck the front right corner of the vehicle driven by Sara Vanzant, 33, 2731 W. Mason Road, Sidney, who was slowing down to make a left turn into a driveway on Mason Road.

Both vehicles sustained minor damages.

Fire, rescue

THURSDAY

-1:36 p.m.: fire. Botkins Fire Department responded to the 106 mile-marker on southbound Interstate 75 in Auglaize County.

-11:30 a.m.: medical. Anna Rescue and Van Buren Township Fire Department responded to the 15000 block of McCarthyville Road in Van Buren Township.

-8:01 a.m.: fire. Botkins Fire Department and Jackson Center Fire Department responded to Auglaize County on the report of a barn fire.

-6:06 a.m.: medical. Fort Loramie Rescue and Fire Department and Deputies responded to state Route 47 and state Route 66 in Cynthian Township on the report of a two-vehicle accident.

-12:07 a.m.: medical. Fort Loramie Rescue responded to the 6000 block of Fort Loramie Swanders Road in McLean Township.

WEDNESDAY

-4:04 p.m.: fire. Russia Fire Department, Houston Rescue and Fire Department, and Lockington Fire Department were dispatched to 4833 Fessler Buxton Road in Loramie Township.

-3:27 p.m.: medical. Anna Rescue and Fire Department and Deputies responded to the 10000 block of County Road 25A in Franklin Township.
