FRIDAY

-1:57 a.m.: theft. Police are investigating the report made by Walmart on Michigan Street of the theft of a wireless speaker, valued at $83.31.

THURSDAY

-5:10 p.m.: theft. Henry Keen, 43, 714 N. Main Ave., reported someone took two aluminum Keller ladders from outside of his residence

TUESDAY

-7:51 p.m.: drug abuse. Marco Delgado, 18, 500 N. Vandemark Road, was arrested for drug abuse.

Crashes

Barbara Dobbs, 69, 721 N. Buckeye Ave., was cited with starting and backing after a two-vehicle collision on Thursday at 11:03 a.m.

Dobbs was backing out of a parking space at 135 N. Ohio Ave., when she struck another vehicle stopped in traffic headed southbound on North Ohio Avenue.

The driver of the other vehicle was Vicki Coburn, 62, 1002 Hayes St.

• Kayla Blosser, 21, 126 Oldham Ave., was cited with overtaking/crossing left of centerline following a two-vehicle collision on Monday at 4:24 p.m.

Blosser was traveling southeast on Fair Road near the intersection of Campbell Road when she proceeded to go left of center and pass on the left of a police cruiser driven by Sidney Police Officer Valerie Leigeber which was stopped in traffic facing southbound on Fair Road, waiting to turn into the driveway of 607 Fair Road. As Leigeber attempted to make the turn, she was struck by Blosser’s vehicle.

Fire, rescue

FRIDAY

-12:32 to 5:01 a.m.: medical. Medics responded to two call.

THURSDAY

-4:40 p.m.: fire. Firefighters responded to the 1300 block of Sixth Avenue for an odor investigation.

-8:34 a.m. to 7:35 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to six calls.
