SIDNEY — “The Electric Forest” is the theme for the 2016 Sidney High School prom.
The dance is planned for Saturday, April 30, from 8 to 11 p.m. at the IUE Hall. After-prom will follow the dance and will be held at Sidney High School.
My Sister Sarah, a Dayton-area band, will be performing at the dance.
The king candidates are Damien Duff, son of Jacquie Blakely and Brian Duff; Ben McClain, son of Bill and Darlene McClain; Quentin McKenzie, son of Christine McKenzie and James McKenzie; Darryl McNeal, son of Belinda Stockton and Darryl McNeal Sr.; Devin Santos, son of Claire Santos-Peredo and Andrew Peredo; and Lorenzo Taborn, son of Ricardo and Barbara Taborn.
The queen candidates are Lizzie Barr, daughter of Eric and Sarah Barr; Kaitlyn Davis, daughter of Darrin and Renee Davis; Ashley Egan, daughter of Mike and Cathy Egan; Sylvia Hudson, daughter of LaVonne Meyer and Stacey and Brad Goffena; Mackenzie Jennings, daughter of James and Amy Jennings; and Mersadi Timmons, daughter of Missy and Craig Inman and Chris Timmons.
The cost is $10 per student. No freshmen are permitted to attend the prom.
