JACKSON CENTER — Renovation of the Jackson Center Schools athletic complex was discussed during a special meeting Thursday,Oct. 6.

The board discussed the ongoing study and recommended approach to renovating the complex and the remaining square footage of the elementary wing. The discussion included the heating and cooling needs of both areas.

This phase of the project will be completed during the summer and fall of 2017. The project scope needed clarified in order to secure any necessary engineering and construction assistance and ensure plans are developed and confirmed to meet timelines. Though a general consensus on the project scope was achieved, no official resolutions were proposed or action taken.

The board’s next meeting will be Monday, Oct. 17.
