Fort Loramie dropped from No. 1 to No. 5 this week in the Division 4 state boys basketball rankings, but the team that handed the Redskins their first loss of the season, the Russia Raiders, did not receive any mention at all this week.
Fort Loramie was top-ranked in the first poll last week, but suffered back-to-back losses to Russia and Versailles. The Redskins bounced back from those losses with two good road wins last week over Anna and Minster and now stand at 10-2.
In Division 3, the 12-1 Versailles Tigers are ranked sixth this week.
• The Minster girls were tied for the top spot last week in Division 4, but this week it belongs to the Lady Wildcats alone with their 12-0 record.
The Russia girls, who are 12-2 on the year, are ranked No. 7 this week, and the Jackson Center Lady Tigers are ranked 15th.
And in Division 3, the Versailles girls are ranked third with their 13-1 record.
