On Friday, Sept. 30, former Israeli President Shimon Peres will be laid to rest at Israel’s national cemetery, Mount Herzl, in Jerusalem in a ceremony to be attended by dozens of world leaders. Peres’ body was laying in state outside the Israeli parliament building and will be transferred in a motorcade early Friday for burial.
