CINCINNATI (AP) — A Cincinnati native and veteran attorney has become the U.S. Attorney for Ohio’s southern district.
Attorney General Loretta Lynch recently swore in 41-year-old Benjamin C. Glassman in Washington. Glassman had been serving as acting U.S. attorney for the district that includes Columbus, Cincinnati and Dayton since March.
Glassman had been an assistant U.S. attorney since 2005 and was in private practice in Cincinnati before that. He has a bachelor’s degree from Rice University and a Harvard law degree.
His current status extends until next February.
